We ask God every day for one person to share his love with. OCW is a way of sharing God's love, together through worship services. We serve with the readiness that God will be revealed through the worship of his people.

S.E.R.V.E.
Romans 12 teaches us how to serve, well. It's starts with how we serve those we serve with. We've made these core values from Romans memorable...
Stay focused (Rom 12:1)
Encourage one another (Rom 15:7)
Reject negativity (Rom 12:9, 1Thes 5:11)
Value Community (Rom 12:10, 15-16)
Enjoy yourself (Rom 12:15)

PRODUCTION
Hesitations about serving? Let's talk.

“I’ve been burned out from serving in the past.”
That’s understandable. Healthy serving should be sustainable, not exhausting. At OCW, most volunteers serve one to two Sundays each month, and schedules and song lists are usually sent 3–4 weeks in advance. That gives you time to prepare at a healthy pace and serve in a way that fits real life.
“I don’t think I’m good enough.”
A lot of people feel that way at first. The good news is, you don’t have to figure that out alone. We’ve created a comfortable way for you to explore where you might fit and grow from there. Band volunteers receive their music weeks in advance and have access to a library of resources for each song, including practice files for vocal parts and instruments. You may be more ready than you think.
“The technology looks complicated.”
It look's intimidating, but most production roles are more approachable than they seem. Many are learned within a couple of weeks of coaching, and every volunteer receives guided support from production pastors and experienced team members. If you’re curious, we also offer a simple behind-the-scenes look so you can see it in action before jumping in.
“The music isn’t really my style.”
Everyone has personal preferences, and that’s okay. At OCW, we value a variety of musical styles in worship. The goal isn’t to center one style over another, but to come together and create something meaningful that helps people engage in worship. Unity matters more than preference, and there’s room for different backgrounds and tastes on the team.
“I didn’t know there was a place for me to serve.”
There is! Whether you’re interested in singing, playing, audio, visuals - there are different ways to get involved based on your experience, interest, and availability. Exploring the team doesn’t mean making a big commitment right away. It just means taking a look at what might be a good fit.
